Today, VGMusic has reached a new milestone - the latest updates have pushed the total MIDI count to a nice round 30K. Can we double it? Triple it? I'd like to think so. In time, we may even reach six figures. Now wouldn't that be something?
Big thanks to all our contributors and their hard work. Enjoy the latest additions; lots of good stuff.

The OS upgrade is complete.
There's one tiny hitch: the Random Song button is broken again, and I'm not sure why. I'm asking Mike about it (he knows Python and I don't).
Edit: It's fixed now! It turns out that a library required by one of its components was not upgraded appropriately.

I'm currently doing site backups. As soon as that's finished, I'm going to be updating the site's server OS.

The site will be down for part of the day on Thursday or Friday for an operating system upgrade. Unfortunately, I cannot give a more specific time than that.
Normally, OS upgrades don't take that long, but we've had some problems in the past.

Greetings everyone.
A few minutes ago, I had an email forwarded to me from one of our frequent visitors. He had just received an email from PayPal with the subject "Help support VGMusic.com" requesting a $0.50 donation.
While this is a real email from PayPal, this person, Bob Johnson, does not represent VGMusic.com.
If you really want to make a donation, use the Pledgie button on our site's front page, left column near the top. This system still uses PayPal, but allows us to keep better records on how much has been donated, and who it was.
